1682 Reinert Wormenhkusen got a certificate of good conduct from the ”Teutschen Hänse-Contor” in Bergen. Here you can read that he planning to resign from the Hanseatic Office and buy a house in Bergen and marry. 1683 he got citizenship in Bergen. And in 1682 June 20. he married Agnete (Vael) Vahl in "Korskirken" in Bergen. Their first child Alheit was bapt. 1683 Januar 1. in "Korskirken". 6 children lived when the father died in 1696.

In the turn of the year 1695/96 there was auction after Sander Jonsen who run the trader place Rødgammen in Troms. Sander's children were not old enough to succeeded the father's business.
German Reinert Wormhus or Worumhus now bought Rødgammen. Financed by  security in house and site in Bergen for 350 "daler", loan from a trader in Bergen 340 "daler" and loan from a friend in Bremen 299 "daler". Reinert Wormhus was married to Agnethe, sister of Elisabeth Vahl, Sander Jonsen's wife. The son Johan Wormhus inherit what was left in Rødgammen, but soon got great debt to people in Bergen.

We don't know that Reinert run trade in Nordland earlier. He went to Rødgammen in the spring 1696 and started trade there. F. eks. we know that he gave credit to Sjur Olsen in South-Grøttøy for 30 "våg" fish, but Reinert died the same year. He was buried in Helgøy churchyard with a tombstone that show dead year and initiales.

Back in Bergen was the widow with 6 minor children from 13 years old to 15 weeks, or the hole family with him to Rødgammen. Division of inheritance in the turn of the year, assets 1243 "daler", house and site in Rødgammen valuation 300 "daler" (he bought it for 830 "daler"). The rest was house and movables in Bergen. But the debt was great, and only 145 "daler" left for the wife and children. The boat (Jekt) and buildings for the trade in Rødgammen given to the creditors. We don't know what kind of buildings, but tradition tell us that the main house seated west of the river close to "Likhaugen", there is a house foundation abt. 12x6m. Reinert's tombstone is preserved and now can be seen in the church in Lyngen.

When Reinert Wormhus died in 1696, his debt in Bremen was 70+30+199=299 "daler", all this debt covered by values in Rødgammen. In Bremen 199 "daler" to David von Werdenn in ”Börnepenger” (children mony). See David von Verden (+1706) in my database. Guardian for Reinert's 6 children was Berent Vall (Vahl) , theirs uncle who died 1698. But a young widow with small children and house in Troms was not able to be in mourn too long. 1697 she was married to the the Danich Nils Nilsen Juell, who got citizenship in Bergen the same year. Reinert Reinertsen Wormhusen, son of Reinert Wormhusen, got citizenship as "høker" in Bergen 1734 and died in 1739.
