Andreas Knudsen Olde was citizen in Bergen 1802 and came from Christiania toBergen. He was trader, innkeeper and shipmaster. Perhaps related to Andreas Olde who was shipmaster in Lübeck in 1585. St. Jacobi was the church for the seafarers in Lübeck, but yet I have not searched for Olde there.
I have found many Olde in Lübeck and Holsten 1500-1900. In my database I have many Olde in and close to Hamburg. Heare are some of the places I have found Olde:
West of Lübeck: Steinbek
North of Lübeck: Ohlenburg (Oldenburg in Holsten)
North and northwest of Hamburg: Spiekerhörn, Bützfleth, and Heide
By Hamburg: Altona
East of Hamburg: Ohlen in Willinghusen, Boberg and Havighorst in Reinbek-Amt
I have not yet found relation between Olde in England and Tyskland, but both families goes far back.
