Johann Seifart: (Ahnentafel) 1725 (ein Blatt 29,5x42 cm) and "Memoiren Des Freiherrn Dubislav Gneomar von Natzmer":
Natzmer is one of the oldest and most distingguished families in Pommern. Before abt. 1228 the family was named Nachimar, then alternating Nazumar, Natzmar and Natzmer, the last one then mostly used.
In the "Pommersche Landesarchiv" there are notes (probably writte before 600 aft. Chr.) that show one from this family had a conflict with one of the masters in Pommern.
From the time with Temple knights (they highly respected the Natzmer) the family possessed the Indigenat in Polen. Two of the family were present when the city Danzig was founded in 1185.
Very much of the information about this family was made to ashes under a fire. Johann Seifarts notes show 11 or 10 generations, mostly man, frequently without more info, in some cases with wife mostly without first name and birth data, and number of child. At the 6. generation there is a division. Dubislav Gneomar Natzmer belong to the 9. generation to the branch from  Anton von Natzmer and Margaretha von Glasenap.

Natzmer have spread in the Mark, in Sachsen and later also in Schlesien.
Miroslaus (Miroschlaff) and Andreas von Natzmer were in 1228 Castellans by the hertug Wratislav in Pommern. Hene and Witte Natzmar had great incomes. Witte Natzmar or Natzmer mentioned in 1399.
