I have got the pictures and info from Ulrich Füghenschuh and a booklet for tourits. (Photo: Hindelang. Ausgabe 2000/2001).

Fügenschuh came from Bregenz in Austria and Hindelang in south Germany. Mathias Fügenschuh, born abt. 1540, was a rich man. Abt. 1570 he was the owner of 4 houses in Hindelang, 3 og them still there and and among the oldest. He sold the houses abt.. 1572/73 to Max Fugger, count of Fugger, Augsburg. Fugger build a lager stud farm there. Abt. 1652 Fugger sold the houses to the bischop of Augsburg. The bischop tear down the main bilding. A small palace was build there, first used as a hunting palace, today it is the town hall in Hindelang.

Max Fugger, autor of the first book in Europe about horse breading and riding, he continued Mathias Fügenschuh's famous stud farm in Hindelang just where Mathias Fügenschuh had his farm. On the front you can still see vague remainders of the family Fügeschuh's mark (three mountains with spruce forest) and Fugger's coat of arms.
