The family von dem Bughe / van deme Bughe (de Bughe, Bugis, Buge, Buga) probably have same origin as Bugge in Denmark. This just a theory based on circumstantial evidences such as similar name, position, geographical residence. Perhaps there is a progenitor called Bugilaw of Wendish origin?

"Herre" to Hald Peder Ludvigsen sold the estate Hald to Niels Bugge in 1346. Perder was son of Ludvig Alertsen of the Lower Saxon family Eberstein, related to the Danish kings and family Hvide.
Resens atlas FYN, page 273-274:
Bugge / Boghius, is called Boccerus in old Frisian history, the 12. judge in Jylland, built in 1080 (to prevent the Saxon intrusion) close to Slesvig a wall, that is called "Bogiswerche", also Boghius's building, in Saxon "Kowwerche". Later improved by the Danish king Gudfred, and by king Gorm's queen, Thyra, after she became widow, and it got the name "Danewerche" (Dannevirke). .....
Bogense a small town on the west coast of Fyns, named after "bog" bøgen's fruit or perhaps after one Bugge, the founder of Bogense.
In other documents the founder of Bogense is called Bugge, who built and lived in the castle Hald, a man with noble ancestors, faithful and brave. He lived about 1330, and you find two folk songs about him in a small collection of very old Danish songs, ........
